I created The Mentoring Edge after decades of leading inside competitive retail environments. I’ve carried the responsibility of performance, team morale, and profitability — and I understand how heavy that seat can feel.
Throughout my career, I’ve mentored leaders and been mentored myself. Those experiences reinforced something I learned the hard way: effort alone does not create progress. Clarity and structure do.
Inside independent businesses, I repeatedly saw leaders working hard but lacking consistent systems. Without disciplined execution and aligned expectations, even strong teams struggle to stabilize performance. The Mentoring Edge was built to change that — combining practical operational frameworks with steady leadership development.
